Our take
The DJ-808 is a powerhouse. The TR-808 drums are authentic and responsive, and the 32 pads offer extensive control. The 4-channel mixer feels premium, and the effects like dub echo and reverb are lush. I love the XLR outputs for pro sound. The only downside is that it's large and heavy, not ideal for cramped spaces. Also, no included software license (Serato is sold separately). But for a used unit in excellent condition, it's a steal for the features. Perfect for DJs who want integrated production capabilities.
